Scar Camouflage:
Before & Afters
Artistic Scar Camouflage is a
combination of Artistic Hair Simulationsm
and Artistic Hair Shadingsm,
that helps to reduce the appearance of your Hair Transplant or
other head scars. We are also able to work with your hair
transplant and use Artistic Hair Shadingsm,
to shade in light area, as seen in the photos. Depending on the
length of your hair, will determine the amount of times that it
will take to cover the scar. Scar tissue is different than
normal healthy tissue, and does not retain the ink the same way
as healthy tissue. Several sessions will be needed to get your
desired results, and results will vary depending on the type of
scar and the age of the scar.
Revised scars will also hold the ink different, so it is
difficult to say how many sessions will be required to get the
desired results. If you email a photo of how your hair and scar
is, we will email you back an estimate of how much this will
cost, how many sessions. Since each scar is different, it is
difficult to say how your end result will be, but the scar will
always look less noticeable. If you are light skinned with
straight hair, the scar may be easier to cover. The shorter your
hair, the more difficult it will be to blend in. With Each
session, the scar will normally retain more ink, and look less
and less noticeable. Each client will be different, depending on
your skin tone, hair texture, type of scar, hair length.
Each session needs to be a minimum of 4 weeks apart. Email us
your photo and we will give you our advise on what we will be
able to do. Although the end result will vary, we have had
excellent results, and for those using cover ups, and makeup,
this is a wonderful alternative. Artistic Scar Camouflage is a
great way to help reduce the appearance of all types of head
scars, and can look natural, when done properly with the
required amount of sessions completed. The lighter colours will
fade quicker, and touch-ups are recommended, if the ink starts
to fade. The shorter your hair, usually the more difficult the
scar will be to blend in, but that will depend on your skin
colour and texture of your hair, In order for the best results,
it is important to follow our stylists advice, so that your new
Headstylsm
will look its best. View the photos in our photo gallery below.
